I repurposed this old tight grain dug fir board into a beautiful bass flute with maple accents and turquoise inlay in the totem. This flute is tuned to a low A 432hz and the fir wood gives it a sweet, rich tone. I used a back side mouth piece for this flute to make it easier to hold and play, however, the player must still have large/xl hands and long limbs to wield easily. The wood is lightweight and this is a very joyful flute to work with. Amazing for sound healing and divine in sacred spaces.
